MISSION

Berthoud Foursquare Church Logo

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

[Hebrews 13:8]

Our name reflects the unchanging ministry of Jesus Christ and our mission to declare it worldwide. The four squares of our logo represent the four scriptural roles of Jesus as Savior, Baptizer With the Holy Spirit, Healer and Soon-Coming King.

Announcements:

October is Pastor Appreciation Month! In Honor of Pastor Stevie, we will be handing out index cards during service for our members to write any words of encouragement, appreciation, testimony, prayer, etc to be returned before or on October 13th for the official Pastor Appreciation Day. If any of our online members and guests would like to participate please send in your message through our email under the heading: Pastor Appreciation.

This is your reminder that we will have our annual Church Thanksgiving Luncheon on November 3rd, the first Sunday of the month. If you would like to help with the food preparation or volunteer to bring a dessert or appetizer please let us know, we would greatly appreciate any help.

We are drawing near to winter so our Burrito Sales will be at the Church at 9:00 AM on select Saturdays depending on the weather. Come out and help us in our sale by making a dozen burritos to sell or buying burritos and donating to help us fund the repairs needed to keep our church standing and up to code. For sales dates, look at our event's page or watch for the announcement on our Facebook.

We ask for your continued prayers for our church family and the Salazar family. December 28th, our church and our family suffered a great loss. God called home our Senior pastor Esteban, or Steve as he was known to many. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend to many. He was a great man of faith, always preaching the word that God put in his heart. He lived every day to the fullest, sharing God’s word with everyone he met. He always talked about how tomorrow is not promised and he was prepared for the day when the Lord would call him home. We will never understand why it had to be now, but we know that God has a plan for everything. He will be greatly missed by all!

One of his favorite verses says…

“But Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

(Matthew 6:33)
